how to set time?

my clock is set right but in my posts it never shows the correct time i posted. anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Go into your account and click edit options. Then scroll down to Time Zones. Make sure it says Eastern Time (US & Canada). Then just below that make sure it says DST corrections always on.
